Unhinged

Some days I want to scream with the wonders of life, the slice of the blue sky, a small brown birds chirp of goodbye, a slim freckled shoulder beneath a pale silk dress.

But some lone, long nights, I want nothing more than to curl beneath the blanket, close my eyes and die.
